Join Modern Richmond on January 19th for a conversation with Richmond architectural and interiors photographer Ansel Olson.
Modern Richmond Board members, Helen Reed and Wendy Umanoff will be discussing with Ansel all things photography, his career as a branding expert and graphic designer, and what led him down the path to becoming a nationally recognized architectural and interiors photographer.
Born in El Paso, Texas, Ansel grew up outside of Washington, DC. His studies at college earned him his design degree from VCU in Richmond Virginia.
As a photographer, Ansel specializes in photographing architectural interiors, with a designer’s attention to detail. He has worked with interior designers and architects for the past 20 years photographing projects across the country and in the Caribbean.
Ansel has over 15 years of experience crafting story-driven imagery. His fast-growing portfolio of commission work also includes corporate photography for architectural product manufacturers, and fine art photography for clients as diverse as the Homestead and Capital One. His award-winning work has been in multiple shows, galleries, and private collections.
Ansel’s work is also in the Modern Richmond Book where he contributed photographs for over 15 featured projects.
