Join Modern Richmond on May 15th at 5:30 PM for a tour of this recently renovated and expanded historic center-hall house built in 1926 on a corner lot in Richmond’s Laburnum Park Historic District.
Josh McCullar, of Josh McCullar Architects PLLC was hired by the property's long-time owners to modernize the elements of this traditional Southern home with a new louvered porch, natural ventilation and a glass belvedere. Josh, along with the design firm Kelly Brown Interiors, created a gracious home where everything is carefully thought out with impressive finishing touches.
Key elements include a new entry and parking court, a garage, and renovations of the first floor that link the historic home to the new addition while providing a new open kitchen, living space, louvered porch, and a new primary suite.
The general contractor for the project was Eric Olsten of Olsten Building Company, with casework by Martin-Star.
Street parking is available.
Note: At the owner's request, the address will only be given to ticket holders.
Space is extremely limited for this tour. Please sign up for the waitlist if you are unable to purchase tickets. If you cannot attend this limited tour, the owner has graciously allowed us to have a unique second tour of the residence! This second tour will be announced as we settle on an upcoming date. Please note that the waitlist is for a single ticket should a spot become available.
