Modern Richmond is very excited to open our fall schedule with "A Couple in Design." This virtual event will be moderated by Modern Richmond's Chair, Helen Reed, and will introduce Jamie and Trip Ivey of Ivey Design Group; a couple that shares a passion and drive to create.
Under one roof they combine a strong design sensibility with unique technical skills. While Jamie leads the company's interiors projects, Trip focuses on the design of custom yachts. The couple met while studying at Virginia Tech and started their Richmond-based firm in late 2015 after four years in California, where Jamie pursued work on international hospitality projects and Trip designed private yachts. Today they are creating amazing projects in Richmond.
