The Kitchens at Reynolds, located at 2500 Nine Mile Road, is a ground-breaking mixed-use project that houses the community college's culinary school with 4 teaching kitchens, a café, a greenhouse, 12 affordable apartments, and commercial tenant spaces. The bold cantilevered concrete, glass, and steel building was designed by New York based O'Neill McVoy Architects in association with Quinn Evans' Richmond office. The building's broad expanses of glass make it a neighborhood beacon, while the brick red concrete walls tie the structure to nearby houses.
At 6:00 on the evening of the tour, which will begin at 5:30, we will have a kitchen demonstration in the 2nd floor auditorium, followed by remarks from architects Beth O'Neill and Chris McVoy.
