"Mole End" is a recently renovated townhouse in English Village, a charming enclave in Richmond's Museum District. The picturesque assemblage of Tudor Revival party-wall residences grouped around a grass forecourt was designed by Bascom Rowlett in 1926.
The owners' 2016 renovation of their 2-bedroom house includes a striking new kitchen and a hidden studio in the skylit attic. Because of its small scale the house can only accommodate tours of 12 people at a time.
We encourage ticket-holders to stagger arrivals after 5:30 to keep the lines short! The owners will be greeting visitors outside and answering questions. Chilled water and vinho verde will be served.
